Exquisite Machine Embroidery for Every Project Size
When it comes to digital embroidery, it’s often easy to assume that bigger is better. In our Central London based embroidery studio we prove that delicate and intricate designs can be just as stunning as their larger counterparts. Take the following project we worked on for shirt brand, Bruta which included a collection of white poplin shirts with a range of different Greek inspired artworks on them.

Some details can often be lost when translating detailed artworks into embroidery, due to the nature of stitch as it’s not possible to achieve the same amount of details as print. However we take the challenge upon ourselves to create the best possible translation of the designs in it’s embroidered form.
Another great example of some of our more dainty machine embroidery works, is this 2.5inch high red wine bottle for a pair of bespoke velvet slippers.

Adding depth and texture to our machine embroidery, we created a lifelike grouse for a pair of uppers. Incorporating layers of different colors and shades, we aimed for a ‘hand’ embroidered appearance.

Mixing machine embroidery with a bit of hand embroidery is also an option, where customer’s would like items making quickly but still have that element of ‘hand done’ to their pieces, like this ditsy floral arrangement with hand embroidered names.

Timeless Elegance with Dainty Hand Embroidery
Hand embroidery is very timely to create, not to mention the years of practicing and training to build up skills! Whilst we do love a big project, and do work on the occasional large scale hand embroidery pieces, our hand embroidery department mostly work on small, one off pieces.
The following piece, for example from our archives was for the one and only Clio Peppiatt’s debut London Fashion Week appearance back in 2015! Read more about the work in our previous blog post.

We mustn’t forget traditional silkworks and goldwork for hand embroidered details! These unique, tiny crests were one off pieces made for a private client who wanted to use them adorn a jewellery box.

Sometimes a simple, hand embroidered monogram is enough to transform a piece from simple to special. We often work with well known Tailors and shirt makers on their garments to elevate their pieces a touch when customers are after something a little more.

The above monogram was embroidered on a bespoke shirt made by our studio neighbour, Deema Abi-Chahine.
