Embroidered car interiors are a luxury that can give any car personality and individuality. Hawthorne & Heaney have recently been doing at lot of work for interiors on leather so we thought we would explore some of the other possible outcomes.
Embroidering car interiors has a wide variety of possibilities, from a small, simple logos to grand designs that cover the entire interior!
Spirit of Ecstasy Embroidered Car Interior
Here’s an example of a simple yet beautiful embroidery inside a Rolls-Royce. It was commissioned by Eurokars to celebrate 10 years representing Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
Embroidered Head Rest
A simple yet effective idea, this tiger design is slightly bolder, though it does not stop there! Some have gone to the lengths of decorating the entire car interior with beautiful designs
Floral Embroidered Phantom Series II
This car’s interior is lined with 10 metres of hand spun Chinese Silk, which has been hand painted and then embroidered for extra impact! The painted and embroidered duck egg blue silk was applied to the roof, rear seats and parts of the doors in a Rolls-Royce Phanton Series II.
Phantom Series II Interior Design
The interior was customise by the in house design team at Rolls-Royce with the assistance of two design graduates; Cherica Haye and Michelle Lubsy.
“The Phantom is synonymous with tranquillity,” says Haye, a graduate of Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art. “It is an ambient, calm and peaceful cocoon in a frenetic world.”
